Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
- Experience with design systems, prototyping, and tools development.

Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

As a Senior UX Designer for YouTube Trust & Safety, you will work on YouTube's #1 priority – keeping the community safe. This role is responsible for defining and enforcing the safety and responsibility standards that ensure harmful behaviors do not degrade the product quality.
You will build the infrastructure and tools that allow YouTube to enforce community guidelines at scale, while envisioning policy experiences that ensure creators participate safely. This is a highly complex and cross-functional space that requires tackling a range of problems and developing solutions that lead to better outcomes for everyone. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product management to create industry-leading tools for investigations, content review, and creator appeals.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$231,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Understand business needs and workflows to develop safety solutions.
- Identify and lead opportunities to innovate and improve YouTube's trust and safety tools and processes.
- Leverage AI and prototyping resources to accelerate workflows, explore solution spaces, and improve product design decisions.
- Partner with UX research teams to identify and address high-impact gaps in product and user knowledge.
- Advocate for team efforts and collaborate across YouTube and Google to find alignment and improve product outcomes.
