Camera Electrical Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working in a circuit board related technical environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in consumer electronics space with an interest in camera development.
  • Experience with high-speed, low-noise PCB design techniques.
  • Experience with substrate design used for system level packaging.
  • Experience and ability to work in a lab environment.
  • Experience in scripting for automating to facilitate hardware testing and debugging.
  • Experience with various ECAD tools such as Cadence, Mentor, Zuken for schematic capture and PCB design.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical design and integration of camera modules into the Pixel product line.
  • Participate in validation and help in triaging/debugging issues during product development.
  • Work with System Electrical Engineering (EE) and Power team to define and design the camera EE architecture for future products.
