Customer Solutions Engineer, gTech Ads

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • Experience coding in languages (e.g., Python, Java or C++), databases (e.g., MySQL or BigQuery) and Unix-like operating systems (e.g., Linux).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Cloud to demonstrate and prototype solutions and integrations in customer/partner environments.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, frameworks, and solutions in the Cloud, AI and Ads technology space.
  • Experience with automating decision pipelines based on machine learning methodologies and data science techniques.
  • Familiarity with the Ad serving industry and MarTech.
  • Ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience effectively.

gTech Ads is responsible for all support and media and technical services for customers big and small across our entire Ad products stack. We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our customers to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide. Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. As a cross-functional and global team, we ensure our customers get the best return on investment with Google and we remain a trusted partner.

As a Customer Solutions Engineer (CSE), you will solve complex challenges for Google's leading advertisers and partners. As a trusted technical advisor, you will partner closely with sales teams to align our technical strategies with business goals, delivering business generation and speed to market by helping customers overcome their most critical marketing and technical challenges. Leveraging Google Cloud's advanced infrastructure, you bridge the gap between complex technical possibilities and real-world business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and deliver innovative solutions leveraging Google's ecosystem, including Google Cloud and Google AI capabilities, to maximize the potential of Google Ads and Google Marketing Platform products.
  • Work closely with Google's largest advertisers, agencies and partners, understand their challenges, collect requirements, provide solutions, consultancy and best practices to apply Ads products and technologies to achieve their business goals.
  • Identify and solve client problems proactively and creatively through effective project management and consultation on technical setup.
