Content Strategy and Innovations Lead, gUP

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in content strategy, knowledge management, knowledge design, or related project or program management.
  • 5 years of experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading teams in transformation.
  • Experience building strategic content plans, analyzing metrics, and reporting on content effectiveness. Ability to distill technically complex and cross-product features and user issues into digestible user content strategy.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and to communicate and collaborate well with cross-functional teams. Experience working in global teams and with outsourced content production.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools for content management, editing, or publication.
  • Comfortable with emerging content formats (e.g., personalized, interactive, motion-based, AI-driven, etc.), experience design and content quality moderation.

As the Content Strategy and Innovations Lead, you will be responsible for horizontal functions across the Content team, including ground truth (i.e. knowledge), content types and channels, metrics and measurement, and regulatory and compliance. You will represent Content through your collaborations in customer-facing AI experiences, corpus optimization, and guideline evolution.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $224,000-$312,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in ground truth development and optimizations in service of enabling gUP's AI-first self-service offerings.
  • Collaborate with product and engineer partners to support customer-facing AI experiences. Manage Content's regulatory and compliance responsibilities across all products and user journeys.
  • Drive automation into content optimization processes. Partner with Content Program Managers to evolve our guidelines in response to the acceleration of automated knowledge production.
  • Channel and content type management, including text, video, GIF, static image, and Learning Centers, across Help Center and YouTube.
  • Measure the impact of our knowledge provision across surfaces and locales, and evolution of those metrics as customer usage patterns shift and become more AI-dominant.
