As Senior Director, you will be responsible for leading an organization of engineers and analysts. Your focus will be to build scalable supply chain solutions with partner connectivity that can scale and sustain data center supply chains for Alphabet/Technology Infrastructure (TI). These teams are tasked with designing, implementing, and operating systems to reduce spend and streamline the compute, network and building infrastructure design, manufacturing, and operations. This enables us to bring the best hardware and services to users around the world. We are working with many third-party solutions, as well as building in-house software where it makes sense.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $298,000-$428,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build supply chain solutions and platforms for supporting Google Cloud Technical Infrastructure for Buildings, Networks, Compute, and Bets,  leveraging Generative AI and other foundational frameworks.
  • Define and establish the outlook, mission, and strategy for the organization. Drive supply chain scaling, efficiency, cycle time reduction, and automation.
  • Partner with and influence business counterparts on long-term objectives, strategy, and roadmaps, and manage large-scale rollouts (e.g. ERP). Advocate for and deploy industry best practices where possible.
  • Drive engineering excellence through best practices for software engineering, testing, and support. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering leaders to drive high level systems architecture and APIs.
  • Manage program portfolios for multiple businesses as well as vendor management and negotiation.
