Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • 3 years of experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in program management, coordinating large, multi-year, cross-organizational programs.
  • Ability to succeed in ambiguity and create documentation and new business processes in order to drive organizational efficiency and consistency.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize data for executive audiences.
  • Excellent technical program management fundamentals on cross-functional projects (planning, execution, estimation, risk management, stakeholder management).

The Global Business Applied AI (GBAI) team provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with strong day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

As a Manager, you will be instrumental in defining the strategy and goal for the Global Business Organization (GBO) tools teams. You will be responsible for improving sales efficiency and effectiveness by building great tools for its users. Our team is the glue that binds the direction of the business with the needs of GBO in Connect Sales. You will accomplish this by partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Sales and Go-to-Market (GTM) to deliver a delightful experience to our users. You will partner with colleagues from Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and GTM at the executive level to ensure alignment across multiple organizations, drive the prioritization of seamless experiences for our customers, and successfully lead the execution of multi-year initiatives. You will also manage and mentor a team of program managers within the GBO Tools team.The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$249,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Evolve how GBO Tools delivers sales tools and support solutions for the business, translating business objectives into program roadmaps.
  • Take a leadership role in partnering with executive business stakeholders, including driving strategy and prioritization, and mitigating cross-organizational escalations.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of program managers, demonstrating a passion for coaching and career growth.
  • Architect the program strategy and long-term goal, assessing and communicating organizational impact to executive business stakeholders.
  • Drive governance and engagement cadence across multiple organizational work streams to ensure clear decision-making, effective escalation paths, and continuous alignment.
