About the job
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
Google Data Centers (GDC) operates one of the planet's largest and most powerful computing infrastructures. To remain at the forefront of technical innovation, Google continuously refines, upgrades, and modernizes its existing data centers, leveraging its Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program.
As a member of the CSRM - Construction EHS team, you'll be crucial in supporting the EHS construction program and team. This critical role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional GDC teams and contractors to protect Google’s interests.
You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying EHS programs and initiatives across a defined area. This means direct engagement with GDC partners, general contractors, electrical/mechanical trades, key integrators, fabricators, and commissioning agents to improve project EHS programs and performance. Your tasks will include pre-qualification evaluations of potential vendors, updating project manuals, and clearly communicating EHS expectations.
The role also involves strategic planning, risk mitigation, and ensuring on-time delivery. You'll establish and track performance metrics, develop and implement best practices, including lessons learned, and regularly report to stakeholders to help the organization scale efficiently.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.Responsibilities
