Sales Program Specialist, Large Customer Sales (English, Spanish)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media (e.g., search, social, mobile, display, and video media).
  • 3 years of experience creating customer-facing materials (e.g., pitches, narratives, or one-sheets) for sales teams.
  • 3 years of experience in Consumer and Market Insights, media measurement, and privacy landscape.
  • Experience in Media and Entertainment industry or Online Video Industry.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience working cross-functionally.
  • Ability to influence strategy using 3rd party insights.
  • Experience with YouTube’s core ad products.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment, including consistently exceeding sales goals, building relationships with clients, and demonstrating an understanding of the business process.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication, project management, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. As a Sales Program Specialist, you will identify and activate strategic YouTube packaging opportunities for our region's advertisers. Your deep understanding of YouTube's ad products will enable you to effectively position and support sales teams in offering compelling sponsorship, programs, and media packages, particularly within our priority areas of Music, Gaming, Entertainment, and Seasonalities.

Leveraging your online video expertise and passion for client success, you will actively support sales teams in advancing the commercialization of our Programs and Packages within the Spanish-speaking Latin American market. You will position our offerings, drive business, and forge new commercial relationships with key partners to enhance our Programs' value proposition. Your commercial expertise and competitive selling skills will be instrumental in identifying innovative packaging opportunities and successfully positioning our offerings among Sales teams, clients, and agencies.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow YouTube programs and packages tailored for music, gaming, entertainment, and seasonal events in Spanish-speaking Latin America.
  • Partner with sales to promote packages, highlighting their unique value. Lead commercial strategy, partnering with brand specialists to position YouTube Premium as a growth driver. Plan and promote annual packages, targeting business generation for specific categories and leveraging seasonal opportunities. Collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Participate in the global packaging community and other packaging meetings to represent Spanish Speaking Latam, share best practices, and stay up to date on relevant news.
  • Monitor business generation, growth, and sales for music, gaming, entertainment, and seasonal packages. Lead quarterly business reviews to present performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with media specialist to develop internal and external materials. Gather feedback from sales and agencies to improve programs.
