Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience managing projects in a technical/software engineering environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of enterprise data centers and technologies.
- Understanding of Operating Systems, Security, Networking and Distributed systems.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) and release orchestration.
- Ability to define, generate and maintain metrics to monitor the progress and success of the organization.
- Ability to work with colleagues in various time zones, especially the US Pacific.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities
- Determine and collect data required to govern programs and drive the stakeholder decision-making.
- Maintain project trackers and status reports.
- Identify and execute on program tasks, including managing dependencies, while incorporating product excellence values, product inclusion, and brand trust and reputation.
- Create automated processes to enhance velocity and monitoring.
- Define program governance structure by determining effective management of mitigations and escalation reports.
