Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience as an instructor, in curriculum development, or as a professional educator (such as K12).
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with instructional design principles and processes.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in training, curriculum development, instruction design, or learning design.
  • 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • 2 years of experience in stakeholders and change management within the LandD space with global know-how and ability to work across different time zones and cultures.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, and assessment principles to develop and implement effective learning interventions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently towards tight deadlines.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Mastery team delivers measurable business results at scale by creating revolutionary learning experiences that prepare Google and it’s partners for the future. In this role, you will lead the design and development of learning experiences for Google’s Global Business Organization, customers and partners to support their growth, effectiveness and development.

You will be responsible for understanding the needs of Google’s Global Business Organization (GBO) learners, work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to align to business priorities, and ultimately, crafting learning experiences that enable individual growth, while driving business impact.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to projects that design, execute, and measure impact of strategic initiatives. 
  • Own hypotheses to key strategic issues and be the main contributor to findings and solutions by partnering with peers to deliver data-driven insights and synthesize recommendations for executive decisions. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across business areas and regions to drive insights and strategic recommendations to leadership and working teams, based on analysis, experience, technical acumen, and good judgment. 
  • Support existing strategic initiatives through ongoing analysis and project management.
  • Identify additional areas of opportunities and develop strategic and tactical plans, and mobilize stakeholders to execute to improve customer and seller satisfaction.
