Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a research or quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Economics, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience with data analysis and data tools (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Looker, Tableau).
  • 3 years of experience designing, scoping, executing, and delivering research and analysis projects.
  • 3 years of experience translating business problems into research questions and translating research findings and insights into marketing recommendations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience with qualitative research methods and approaches.
  • Experience in a range of marketing analytics challenges (e.g., opportunity sizing, audience segmentation).
  • Experience with Agile project management.
  • Familiarity with Google’s data and BI solutions (e.g., BigQuery, Looker).
  • Ability to collaborate, build consensus, deliver, and drive technical decisions with various sized customer stakeholder group.
  • Excellent technical acumen, project management, and problem-solving skills.

As part of Global Growth and Demand (GGD), the Data Science and Analytics team serves as the engine for data-driven marketing success. We transform complex data into actionable insights, enabling Google Cloud Marketing to make informed decisions and achieve greater efficiency and impact. Our focus is on providing the intelligence needed to drive smarter, more effective marketing strategies.

We are seeking a Marketing Analytics Manager to deliver impactful, data-driven insights that fuel the growth of Google Cloud's Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB), Startup/Digital Native (DN), and Sales Development (Sales Dev) segments. in this role, you will conduct in-depth analyses of marketing data to identify trends and uncover actionable insights that directly improve marketing strategies. You will create clear and informative reports and dashboards to track key metrics, proactively monitor marketing performance, and identify A/B testing opportunities to optimize campaign effectiveness. You will drive the pipeline and new customer acquisition. This is a critical role within the Global Demand Center (GDC), a core growth engine for Google Cloud, offering substantial opportunity for growth and impact.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$163,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing data to identify trends and uncover insights that drive improvements in Google Cloud Marketing strategies.
  • Create clear and informative reports and dashboards to track key metrics, generate insights, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Monitor marketing performance data, identifying potential issues and opportunities for improvement before they impact key business objectives.
  • Identify A/B testing opportunities through campaign data analysis and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Work closely with marketing managers, engineering and others to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
