Product Support Manager, Chrome and Web Ecosystem

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a project/program management, consulting, or client facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with data operations, data labeling, or data quality processes, particularly in the context of machine learning.
  • Track record of successfully engaging and influencing stakeholders, including Product Managers, Engineers, and Operations teams.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment with little guidance and attention to detail.
  • Ability to draw insights from data and recommend a path forward, and aligning stakeholders around recommended actions.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$157,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of projects, from initial scoping to successful execution and post-launch review. Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate their needs into clear, actionable requirements, ensuring alignment with product goals and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with the gUP Operations team to manage vendor partners, overseeing project execution, quality control, and adherence to defined standards. Maintain transparent and proactive communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Identify and implement improvements in workflows, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and quality.
  • Ensure all operational activities, including vendor engagements and data handling, strictly comply with Google's internal policies, privacy guidelines, and relevant external regulations.
  • Identify potential roadblocks, dependencies, and risks within projects and develop effective mitigation plans to keep projects on track.
