Strategic Partner Manager, Creator and Talent Representation, YouTube

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience and deep relationships with the talent representation industry with an understanding of the creator economy landscape.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects and solve critical problems through analysis.
  • Ability to analyze data to create insights that are actionable for external partners.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to cultivate trust and rapport with external partners while effectively driving solutions to complex issues.
  • Executive presence and ability to align and influence internal and external stakeholders around common goals.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, facilitation of small and large events, writing and delivery.

About the job

As a Strategic Partner Manager at YouTube working with talent representatives in our Creator Economy Ecosystem team, you’ll work at scale with talent agencies and management companies that represent the biggest and most influential creators, celebrities and athletes. You will manage day-to-day operations with partners, fielding and prioritizing incoming requests and analyzing data to proactively identify opportunities to grow your partners’ businesses on the platform. This dynamic, cross-functional role empowers you to also work on initiatives to enhance the creator economy ecosystem more broadly.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Negotiate complex agreements and cultivate strategic partnerships with talent representatives that drive results for their businesses and clients as well as YouTube.
  • Develop, plan and implement projects and initiatives to grow and enhance the overall creator economy ecosystem. Identify and develop new business opportunities that expand the creator economy ecosystem and benefit both partners and the platform.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and partner relationships, fielding and prioritizing incoming requests and creating periodic reports (external and internal) on partner performance.
  • Produce analyses and recommendations to optimize performance as part of a review cycle with managed partners.
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple teams, across Product, Sales, Marketing, Policy, Comms, Finance and Legal to bring the right solutions to key partners.
