Sourcing Specialist, Google Public Sector

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience at a recruitment agency or in-house recruiting team.
  • Experience in sourcing talents within the United States public sector (e.g., education, national defense, healthcare, etc).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with working in the public sector industry and commercial technology environments including knowledge of communities.
  • Experience in recruiting talent using specialized job boards or networking events across the public sector industry.
  • Ability to leverage talent mapping research and identify key market trends, with the knowledge in talent search methodologies, such as Boolean operators, applicant tracking system (ATS) sourcing tools, and specialized online resources to identify and attract quality talent.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Active, or the ability to obtain, a Top Secret security clearance.

Google Public Sector (GPS) focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and continue to make significant investments and grow the team to meet the needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions.Great just isn't good enough for our People Operations team (known elsewhere as "Human Resources"). The US base salary range for this full-time position is $131,000-$192,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify talent for Google Public Sector’s business needs by leveraging existing talent pools and creating new ones through market intelligence and various sourcing methods.
  • Identify, engage, and advise external talent with a focus on creating a compelling goal and opportunity to join Google and support the Google Public Sector (GPS) business.
  • Create and drive industry specific sourcing strategies focused on quality, process efficiency, and quality client/candidate experiences across the public sector.
  • Work with recruiting partners and hiring managers across the GPS Go-To-Market and Technology organizations to understand the team structure, projects, and future growth needs.
  • Solve problems and produce solutions by collecting and analyzing data, identify alternatives amidst changes, and identify ways to improve the business.
