Senior Product Manager, Compute

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications in Cloud architecture and NVIDIA AI Infrastructure.
  • Experience engaging with analyst firms (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, SemiAnalysis) or acting as a media spokesperson.
  • Experience in a Cloud provider environment.
  • Experience in creating and delivering technical and business content (e.g., pitch decks, whitepapers, engaged battlecards).
  • Knowledge of the AI/ML ecosystem (Large Language Models, Generative AI, PyTorch/JAX/TensorFlow) and the underlying specialized compute (TPUs, NVIDIA GPUs).
  • Ability to influence product roadmaps and engineering priorities based on engaged intelligence and customer adoption data.

As a Senior Outbound Product Manager, you will define, own, and execute the end-to-end Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for a portfolio of advanced AI infrastructure hardware and software. You will serve as the lead for cross-product initiatives, wielding influence across multiple product areas to shape key business decisions. Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for new AI infrastructure products (e.g., next-generation Tensor Processing Units (TPUs), next-generation Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), Artificial intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) software frameworks, AI/ML software products) from Pre-GA through General Availability (GA) and mass adoption.
  • Own the positioning, messaging, and differentiation strategy for Google Cloud AI infrastructure against key performers.
  • Create technical sales enablement content, training, and tools (e.g., engaged battlecards, pitch decks, whitepapers) to empower the global business and partner field.
  • Partner with business and and product management to develop compelling, public-facing customer evidence, including customer case studies, technical blogs, testimonial videos, and presentations that clearly articulate customer return on investment and technical advantage.
  • Conduct in-depth search analysis on engaged product roadmaps, pricing, and business models to identify GTM opportunities and threats.
