National Security Capture Program Manager, Google Public Sector

This position requires that the candidate selected be eligible to obtain, and/or currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI with Polygraph. The position further requires the candidate will obtain a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform GPS work. Failure to maintain (or obtain, if applicable) the appropriate U.S. Government clearance and/or customer screening requirements that results in the employee unable to perform the requirements of the role, may result in employment action up to and including termination.

Additionally, you must be a US Citizen to meet customer and compliance requirements, including potential access to classified information.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in capture management within National Security at an enterprise software company, cloud service provider, or similar.
  • Experience with the Shipley Method and formal capture management processes.
  • Active US Government TS/SCI with Poly Security Clearance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in stakeholder management.
  • Experience with technology procurement, acquisition, agreements, operating dynamics, business customs, and technology policies of public sector entities in the government.
  • Experience building compelling program strategies that include onboarding and maximizing partners in complex implementation programs.
  • Experience in digital transformation, innovation, and program business with public sector organizations.
  • Knowledge of communications, procurement, acquisition, legal, compliance, or regulatory matters in the public sector.

Google Public Sector Capture and Proposals, is an organization with Google Cloud, and it generates and manages the long-term pipeline for capture opportunities. The team is responsible for winning new business through long-term strategy by ensuring that Google provides complete, compliant, competitive, and compelling responses to US Government requests for proposal, information, etc.

As the National Security Capture Program Manager, you will be a catalyst for leading Google’s capture strategy for business opportunities with U.S. Public Sector customers. You will partner with industry professionals to bring procurement resources, tools, methodologies, and sound judgment to business units. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure all third-party agreements meet Google’s agreement standards and requirements. You, along with your counterparts in Sales, Legal, and Pricing, will set pricing, discuss business agreements and sales agreements for cloud and professional services sales. You will serve as a subject matter expert on Google Cloud’s Policies and Procedures, describing what we do and why we do it to internal stakeholders to minimize risk while delivering growth across the portfolio.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $158,000-$235,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop the capture strategy and identify actions that need to be taken to implement the capture strategy and plan.
  • Propose approaches to achieve customers’ mission objectives and meet customers’ expectations.
  • Build growth strategies using business intelligence developed for opportunity pursuit and grow agreement portfolio to expand Google’s reach into Public Sector customers.
  • Liaise with contracting officers and other customer-agency procurement staff.
  • Foster, cultivate, and own strong business relationships with business executives and leadership, proposal managers, deal management, and legal to ensure a collaborative environment.
