Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (Python, C++, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in mobile software development.
- Experience in launching and maintaining Android or iOS applications.
- Experience with full-stack development and understanding of testing methodologies and best practices for mobile applications.
- Experience in using AI tools for development workflows.
- Knowledge of the payments or digital credentials landscape.
- Passion for user-facing features and a sense of product excellence.

As a key pillar of Consumer Payments, the Google Wallet team's mission is to digitize and organize users' personal credentials (payment, identity, passes, etc.) and make everyday transactions simpler, safer, and more helpful. We operate in a fast-paced, collaborative, innovative, and user-focused environment.
We grow on building cutting-edge solutions and leverage AI-powered development tools like Jetski, Gemini CLI, and others to iterate quickly and make a big impact. This role involves building new capabilities and collaborating closely with local and global cross-functional teams (including UX, and other engineering teams in Singapore and the US).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software for Google Wallet.
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to define and implement user-facing features. Advocate product excellence and ensure features are accessible, considering accessibility and internationalization.
- Write high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code. Contribute across the full stack, including designing and integrating with server-side APIs.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance and accelerate development workflows.
- Grow in a fast-paced environment, contributing to all phases of the software development life cycle.
