Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in either system design or in one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.).
  • 6 years of experience in web applications (e.g., HTML, CSS).
  • 6 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
  • 8 years of experience working with Unix or Linux operating systems/commands.
  • 8 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • 4 years of experience with Google Ad Manager, Display and Video 360 or other products of the Google advertising products.

About the job

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

In this role, you will build technical relationships with Google's publisher partners by helping them generate business with their content and enabling advertisers to reach the users of publishers web, mobile and video properties. You will be responsible for providing technical consulting and implementation services, while incubating new solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Help partners in their day-to-day issues by delivering innovative and scalable solutions to their problems, troubleshooting their issues and performing implementation reviews. Advocate new product features and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical issues.
  • Assist clients in the adoption of new products via upgrades and migrations to develop their long-term success and improve product offerings by providing client feedback on features to product management and engineering.
  • Manage complex, multi-dimensional implementation and consulting projects involving publishers and tech integrators. 
  • Undertake the technical aspects of client integrations both new and ongoing by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance. Analyze and optimize the development of existing clients to ensure their success with the Google suite of products for partners.
  • Design, develop and go-to-market with new internal and external solutions that solve client's needs
