Operations Manager, Regional Transportation

Remote location: Mexico.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in supply chain management with emphasis on functional roles in procurement, planning, fulfillment or operations.
  • 3 years of vendor management experience in support, operations or customer experience organization.
  • 3 years of industry experience in reducing transportation, fulfillment and inventory costs through the application of models.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
  • Experience managing third-party transportation providers.
  • Experience with International trade via inland ports.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting for a portfolio of partners.
  • Work across multiple teams to align delivery dates with need by dates at origins and destinations.
  • Support cross-functional transportation initiatives.
  • Track execution tasks, understand permit process and transit times to deliver efficiency. 
  • Establish and continually improve the consistency, predictability, and efficiency of each carrier.
