Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • 4 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and communicating findings to executive management.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous and changing environments.
  • Ability to work across teams, build relationships, and influence executives.
  • Ability to develop and articulate strategy.

About the job

In this role, you will oversee the strategy, design, enablement, and measurement of an organizational change initiative, focused on introducing portfolio management to People Operation Portfolio Management (POps). You will help POps Googlers build new habits and mindsets for how they manage their work in TaskFlow through storytelling, influence, and targeted messaging. You will segment our users based on their roles and needs, assess user receptivity to change, and implement user-centric solutions to help them more effectively track their work using TaskFlow. You will build sustainable relationships with stakeholders, including executive leaders, using data and clear communications to influence decisions and foster collaboration.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build a compelling narrative for portfolio management for POps, including the use of TaskFlow as POps’ preferred project management tool, and socialize via a variety of media.
  • Develop a comprehensive enablement strategy to support the adoption of a new portfolio management system. This includes designing and leading change readiness assessments, gaining leadership alignment, facilitating workshops/training sessions, and measuring the effectiveness of change initiatives.
  • Oversee the execution of change-focused communications and broader enablement plans, in partnership with POps partners and key cross-functional teams.
  • Act as a thought partner for POps leaders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Create a consistent "drumbeat" of information to keep both leaders and TaskFlow users informed and engaged.
