Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • 2 years of experience in the media, over-the-top (OTT) streaming, or finance industries.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
  • 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • 2 years of experience managing vendor extended staff in a global, scaled operational environment.

The YouTube TV Partner Engineering and Operations team's mission is to support YouTube TV products, partners, and internal stakeholders via flawless execution at scale.

As an Operations Manager within the TV Partner Engineering and Operations team, you will be crucial in supporting and scaling the dynamic Package and Offer Management ecosystem. You will configure user-facing offers and help scale our processes and technology to ensure flawless execution in support of rapid business growth.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $92,000-$130,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations for YouTube TV and Primetime Channels Package and Offer support areas.
  • Drive foundational improvements that help scale our operation, including designing, redesigning, and standardizing core workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Product) to guide investments in operational tooling and infrastructure, and with YouTube's global vendor network to improve operational processes.
  • Define and manage operational metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (e.g., speed, quality, and cost) to monitor operational health and drive improvements.
  • Support new packages and offer creation, price changes, package turndowns, free trial requests, and rebrands.
