Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in a product management or similar role working with technical development teams.
  • 7 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
  • 5 years of experience managing relationships and presenting technical solutions to internal stakeholders or external clients.
  • 5 years of experience crafting product goals and managing product roadmaps using prioritization frameworks, jobs frameworks, empathy maps, product canvas, etc.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • 9 years of experience of technical data solution delivery including dash-boarding and data visualization, machine learning, data engineering, and data mesh/lakes/warehouses.
  • Experience converting ambiguous business requests into technical requirements for insightful data products.

YouTube Analytics and Decision Support (ADS) powers sound business decisions through scaled data and insights for YouTube’s business organization. The Users, Partners, Creators Analytics team informs the most impactful decisions made across Partnership Management, Support Operations, and Product Partnerships.

In this role, you will enable global Partnership Management and Product Partnerships teams to actively manage YouTube's most important partners and creators, promoting the success of their partners and the YouTube ecosystem. You will lead the work of a team of business intelligence analysts and data engineers, significantly improving user experience across business-critical data products, delivering friction-less solutions that empower users to meet business goals. You will work with YouTube Directors and Vice president's to understand business priorities and requirements, using this to identify opportunities to apply robust or innovative technology including AI/ML across data products, from issue prevention and observability to personalized solutions and interactive interfaces. You will partner with technical leads to craft platform strategy, develop long-term roadmaps infused with AI capabilities, and unlock insights that shape YouTube's success. You will ensure seamless integration of stakeholder needs and innovation that unlocks significant business value.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $177,000-$263,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Structure and lead the design and development of products, identify and advocate for opportunities to incorporate Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) into product development to increase usage, reliability, and user satisfaction.
  • Develop and own the Partnerships data product goals and translate it into a prioritized product backlog through thoughtful roadmapping, continuous prioritization, performing customer discovery, authoring product requirements, and breaking down work planning into epics and stories.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence and Data Engineering teams in the creation of detailed systems design, ongoing delivery, ensuring that everything Google releases is tested, launched, communicated, and adopted effectively.
  • Influence executive business partners and ADS leadership. Articulate the strategic value of technical investments (including AI/ML) in YouTube Partnerships.
  • Land product releases successfully by enabling users through comprehensive documentation, training, troubleshooting, and support.
