Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience managing third-party logistics, manufacturing or supply chain operations vendors.
- 7 years of experience managing operations and leading cross-regional teams.
- Experience in planning, business case development, team management, project, budget or program management.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in managing vendor and outsourced providers.
- 10 years of experience in scaled and supplier operations and project management.
- 10 years of experience building relationships with stakeholders or clients.
- Knowledge of SQL, Analytics and Operations Six Sigma certification (or other relevant operations coursework).

It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.As an Area Manager, Logistics Operations Management, you will play a pivotal role in enabling Alphabet to innovate at extraordinary speed and scale. You will lead the day-to-day logistics operations across multiple warehouse and data center locations, managing the third-party logistics (3PL) partners responsible for ensuring our physical hardware deliveries and installations happen on schedule. You will be included in comprehensive 3PL partner management,covering account oversight, spend controls, quarterly business reviews, and escalat ions, as well as owning Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive performance. You will create and lead cross-functional, continuous improvement initiatives that reduce costs, maintain a safe workplace, and ultimately achieve the On-Time Installation (OTI) of new cloud machine capacity.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities
- Manage third-party logistics partner teams dedicated to our account, including account management, spend controls, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), metrics management and escalation management.
- Own the day-to-day logistics operations management of multiple warehouse or Data Center locations using industry best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to improve performance, reduce cost and maintain a safe workplace.
- Own and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), vendor performance scorecards and development of business cases to support logistics changes or improvements.
- Create, lead and support Continuous Improvement and cross-functional initiatives with a focus on achieving On Time Installation (OTI) of new cloud machine capacity.
