Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Experience with OEMs and partnership relationships.
  • Understanding and familiarity with video calling, especially on mobile.

Google Meet is both a part of the Google Workspace product suite and therefore a paid product serving business needs, and also a free consumer product that is the out-of-the box pre-installed video calling app on Android.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Understand user needs, set a strategic direction for the product, and ensure it aligns with Google's and Google Meet’s overall goals.
  • Analyze and optimize every touchpoint, from the first time someone uses Google Meet to becoming a loyal, engaged user.
  • Generate new ideas, prioritize features, and collaborate with engineering to deliver a high-quality product.
  • Develop strategies to attract new users and keep existing users coming back for more.
  • Work with marketing, partnerships, support, and other teams to ensure Google Meet's success. This includes close collaboration with the Android team and key OEMs to ensure a seamless and optimized experience on those platforms.
