  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
  • Experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with designing and building web technologies and deploying large scale applications.

Gemini Cloud Assist helps cloud teams design, operate, and optimize their application life-cycle. Gemini’s contextual and personalized AI guidance understands your Google Cloud resources to help you craft new designs, deploy workloads, manage applications, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance and costs. You can accelerate complex tasks and boost productivity to stay focused on your business.

The Cloud Assist Experience team is responsible for building the chat experience in Cloud Console and enables product teams to easily leverage GenAI intelligence through platform integrations.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google’s cutting-edge technology, and tools that help developers build more sustainably. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable and maintainable frontend architectures. Advocate best practices and coding standards.
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend) to understand requirements, align on priorities, and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Stay informed of the latest front-end technologies and trends. Identify and implement innovative solutions that enhance the user experience and improve team efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide UI developers, ensuring code quality and alignment with best practices. Provide architectural guidance and leadership on front-end design decisions.
  • Monitor and optimize front-end performance to ensure a fast and responsive user experience.
