Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
- Experience with partnerships for AI/ML model training.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Legal, Product, Operations) and engaging with external partners to drive efficient agreement closures.
- Experience with contract principles and operational workflows, with an ability to identify and implement continual process improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
- Excellent strategic thinking and investigative skills with good business judgment.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
The AI, Research and Core Partnerships team supports all APAC partnerships for the global Product Areas of Research, Google DeepMind (GDM) and Core. We empower and enable project teams by understanding their mission, identifying partners, initiating relationships, negotiating agreements and serving as advisor to advance objectives, including the launch of new AI models.
Responsibilities
- Translate researcher needs into actionable sourcing strategies for Gemini. Design high-velocity, programmatic workflows to accelerate content acquisition across APAC markets.
- Identify and prioritize APAC partners aligned with GDM goals. Manage a high-volume pipeline, ensuring regional insights inform global data acquisition.
- Partner with Legal, Engineering, and Product teams to drive seamless agreement execution. Advocate for APAC market requirements to be integrated into global platforms and tooling.
- Lead end-to-end negotiations for sophisticated data partnerships, navigating commercial terms, usage rights, and ethical compliance with speed and precision.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the AI landscape and emerging trends to serve as a vertical-specific subject matter expert within the team and drive continuous process improvement and rigorous pipeline management (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure efficient agreements and data accuracy.
