Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of professional experience in sales strategy and operations or a related field
- 5 years of experience leading a team.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience selling cloud products.
- Experience with content creation and narrative development.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import/export talent and ideas to achieve broader organizational goals.
- Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space

The Go-to-Market (GTM) Practice organization, as part of the Customer Experience organization, is the central global organization that owns the development and activation of Go-to-Market plans across all product areas for Google Cloud. This organization is responsible for setting strategy with deep understanding of product and the market and activating the field against the largest addressable market opportunities, managing performance feedback loops to accelerate progression and enable the Go-to-Market organization to deliver on the financial plan. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end plans and activation at Google Cloud. This role is a Global strategic role responsible for the strategy and trajectory of this priority practice.
As Director, you will bring your experience and thought leadership to help drive roadmap, mission, and strategy around the sales GTM approach. The goals of the Global Practice Lead function are to design and operationalize an end-to-end GTM plan. The success of the GTM plan is measured by reaching our growth goals for the AI practice in that fiscal year. This includes plays to activate, defining customer goals, partner and services strategies, community management, and global aggregation of regional feedback. Partnering with the Global and Regional supporting functions to architect the plans, manage the programs, and activate the field. The Global Practice Lead is accountable for the strategy and assessment of the execution of the GTM motion for their practice.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $262,000-$369,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Establish the GTM strategy, defining supporting plays, iterating on feedback, and supporting activation.
- Manage the play portfolio to balance core activation models designed to support near term business generation and strategic growth areas.
- Manage the measurement and analysis of the portfolio to be addressed with appropriate global support functions.
- Orchestrate quarterly and monthly business reviews to track the progress of the GTM initiatives, and create a seamless feedback loop.
- Lead a team of Practice Architects and Program Leads for the practice areas. Partner closely with the Global Practice Performance team and Regional Practice Managing Directors.
