Growth Manager, Gaming, AppDev, Large Customer Sales

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience working in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or similar areas within the app marketing industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing customer objections and providing strategic recommendations, working with clients and building relationships with executive level stakeholders.
  • Experience in the gaming, mobile apps, or digital industry, with the knowledge of the app developer ecosystem.
  • Experience in working in the app marketing industry, with an understanding of the app marketers and app ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions.
  • Interest in sales and working with and educating new advertisers.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Consulting with a wide variety of existing advertising companies of all sizes, you are committed to finding the optimal advertising solution for each client. Your interest in sales and the digital economy and your entrepreneurial drive enables brands to expand their businesses with Google's latest advertising products and solutions. Your understanding of online media combined with your commercial know-how shape how new and existing businesses grow. Using your effective communication skills, you are the face of Google to a portfolio of clients whose needs you listen to, and help define the strategy for how their products and services can reach thousands or millions of users.

As a Growth Manager, you will engage with mobile-first gaming businesses, exceed growth goals, and drive change to accelerate Google’s position in the fast-growing and strategic business of app install.

In this role, you will be part of a team dedicated to helping mobile application developers within the gaming industry, grow their business using Google products and services. You will take ownership of app install business in the assigned market from setting strategy and driving execution to reach the market growth goals. You will work with both new and existing customers to help grow their business by providing solutions and insights to drive app discovery and engagement.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with existing gaming clients. Understand their business goals and issues.
  • Build relationships within Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams to align on the end goal and increase client's business and satisfaction.
  • Identify growth opportunities within our client portfolio. Prioritize accounts, address concerns, and measure campaign results effectively.
  • Consult with executives to help them achieve their domestic and global marketing objectives using Google's app advertising tools.
  • Deliver exceptional client service, and create tailored app marketing strategies that ensure long-term client success.
