Senior UX Designer, AI transformation

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Portfolio showcasing enterprise case studies with integrating workflows across disparate groups, processes, or technologies.

From creating user flows and wireframes to building mockups and prototypes, you will envision and bring product experiences to life with an inspired, refined, and magical feel. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, leveraging user insights to create industry-leading products.

As an Interaction Designer, you'll apply user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution, working with design partners to evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative products.

As a Product Designer/UX Strategist, you will define how our technology and operational services evolve to increase marketers’ velocity, and the impact of their campaigns. You will skew toward service designers, information architects, prototypers, and folks who interrogate data. You’ll accelerate Google’s AI transformation internally, both in refining UX processes, and in shaping the ecosystem experiences our marketers use every single day.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$231,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Define the architecture of the emerging AI marketing ecosystem by uncovering and mapping business processes through user/stakeholder interviews, journey mapping, stakeholder/tool mapping, and facilitating co-creation workshops. 
  • Be a trusted partner and collaborator with UX, product, engineering, and marketing subject matter experts to bring a powerful user-centered perspective and drive strategic direction and product decisions.
  • Define how AI can automate, simplify, and expedite manual operations and marketing journeys.
  • Synthesize complex, conflicting data into actionable artifacts like service blueprints and journey maps that drive organizational change.
