Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience or deep interest in Human Movement Science, Digital Health, or Biometric Sensing (e.g., PPG, ECG, Accelerometry).
- Experience navigating the technical constraints of iOS and Android background processing, battery optimization, and Bluetooth/low-energy communication.
- Familiarity with the infrastructure requirements for Generative AI or Agentic Systems, particularly regarding real-time data ingestion and contextual awareness.
- Ability to communicate complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and align roadmaps across disparate engineering organizations.

As a Product Manager within the Platform and Devices Health team, you will be the primary architect of the data nervous system that powers the Google Health Coach. This role sits at the high-stakes intersection of hardware sensors, distributed systems, and Generative AI.
You will ensure that Google Health has access to a continuous and real-time stream of biometric data. You will manage the journey of biometric data from detection on a device to transformation into an AI insight. Also, you will solve latency challenges and define real-time health for users.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Research to define requirements for Human Performance Algorithms, optimizing for high-confidence activity detection and signal reliability in complex, real-world environments.
- Own the end-to-end journey of user data across hardware, mobile, and cloud surfaces, managing technical solutions to eliminate latency and systemic friction.
- Establish trust goals for the intelligence stack, and develop metrics and transparency frameworks to ensure AI-driven insights are technically accurate.
- Author high-complexity specifications that translate ambiguous biometric and system challenges into executable engineering workstreams. Act as the primary technical bridge between Device Engineering, AI Research, and Gemini teams to align roadmaps and unlock new agentic capabilities.
