Strategic Insights Lead, Finance (English, Portuguese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience working with digital organizations and senior leadership.
  • Experience identifying and recommending scalable solutions to improve customer strategy.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of finance processes with experience in optimizing the business processes using industry and technology best practices.
  • Ability to plan, pitch, and execute a start-to-finish sales strategy.
  • Excellent presentation and analytical skills with knowledge in data analysis, market research, and deriving insights.
  • Excellent data-based decision making, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to convey information to audiences.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

As the Strategic Insights Lead, you will help shape the company's strategic direction by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide insights that drive decision making at all levels of the organization.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Lead research and analysis, possibly including market research, trend analysis, data modeling, and user studies, to understand the competitive landscape, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Translate raw data into clear and concise narratives, and present findings and recommendations to executives, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product, marketing, sales, and engineering teams, to integrate strategic insights into the decision-making and product development process.
  • Monitor the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in consumer behavior to provide insights.
