Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience implementing software solutions for legal departments.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in engineering or technical program management.
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience establishing and working across extended workforce models to deliver work at scale.
  • Knowledge (e.g., best practices, operating models, technology) across legal, compliance, regulatory, risk management, and trust and safety.
  • Ability to influence others, fostering and maintaining key relationships over time.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage the program life-cycle of first-party and third-party tech and process implementation through the define, planning, and delivery phases, and ensure the completion of scoped projects on established timelines.
  • Develop and manage program design structures for execution, drive supporting communications plans, program charters, tracking, and reporting functions.
  • Contribute to the development of tooling, solutions strategy and roadmap for Global Affairs stakeholders such as Legal and Risk Engineering, Privacy and Safety and Security, and perform business process, data, and technology assessments to drive solution design and inform resource investments.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand key business and user needs, identify strategic solutions, document business requirements, and facilitate change management.
  • Manage client pipeline and align cross-functional stakeholders towards high-priority opportunities and challenges, assisting leadership with continuous and annual planning to secure engineering and business resource commitments.
