Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The Play Business Generation team leads the charter that connects app and game developers to buyers. Our capabilities include the foundational payments infrastructure that enables commerce as well as all of the business generation models developers have access to, including premium apps, subscriptions, one time product as well as our indirect billing mechanics. Play has a global presence and a diverse range of Android developers which demands a highly flexible and scalable business generation platform.

As part of the Business Generation Platform team, you will be working at the intersection of digital, commerce and payments with a charter to help our platform scale with the needs of Android developer ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with engineering to define future goal, strategy, and road-map for Play’s catalog system particularly focusing on enabling the infrastructure that supports the catalog of products that developers want to promote on Google Play.
  • Work directly with both internal and external Android developers to understand business models and incorporate platform gaps into product strategy.
  • Develop an understanding of Play’s business generation platform, APIs, libraries and integrations.
  • Work across Play’s Product and Engineering teams to advise on and ensure platform consistency and scale.
