About the job
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Responsibilities
- Establish, implement, promote and maintain a conforming environmental and energy management system (EEMS) aligned to relevant ISO standards, including procedures and associated knowledge database encompassing all GDC operating models.
- Manage recertification, scope expansions and associated continual improvements against the relevant ISO standards (e.g., 14001; 50001) by engaging with the relevant stakeholders.
- Plan and execute audits to the EEMS management system for ensuring their conformity and effectiveness as well as managing the external certification audit process.
- Monitor upcoming environmental and energy regulations, and collaborate with internal GDC teams to steer program requirements through a solid understanding of EMEA environmental, energy and sustainability regulations.
- Identify and evaluate data center environmental and energy risks for impact to the business from end-to-end and design/lead programs to mitigate those risks.
