- Experience in network infrastructure components and technologies, including data centers, long haul/DWDM, IP network and submarine network.
- Experience in developing and implementing network infrastructure plans.
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a technical field.
- 10 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in driving innovation and delivering impactful results.
- Experience in working in a global organization with stakeholders.
- Experience in network optimization, capacity planning, and cost modeling.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. As a Planning Innovation Technical Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Google's global infrastructure. Your core mission is to create the assets, infrastructure, and capacity plans necessary to support the massive growth of Google's global production network. You will be the key driver for developing and executing multidisciplinary programs that directly enhance the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our network. This role demands an understanding of network technologies and a passion for innovation in a dynamic global environment. Responsibilities
- Drive initiatives to maximize network scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency, ensuring product deployment and maximizing Return on Investment (ROI).
- Identify infrastructure issues and innovative solutions to improve network planning across all domains.
- Influence and collaborate with key stakeholders (i.e.,engineering, product, architecture) to navigate ambiguity and implement planning strategies.
- Serve as the team's recognized subject matter expert, staying current on network technologies and developing best practices.
- Utilize data analysis and modeling to forecast future demands and clearly articulate planning strategies, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership.
