Global Product Activation Lead, Creator, YouTube

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory experience or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • 2 years of experience in people management and leading a team.
  • Experience with scaling Business-to-Business-to-Consumer digital businesses.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience managing complex projects across multiple functions and product areas along with excellent project management skills.
  • Experience in synthesizing user feedback into insights and translating product offerings into simple terms for users along with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in Generative AI Creation and workflow.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, communication and cross-functional coordination skills, along with attention to detail.
  • Excellent presentation skills (e.g., slide creation, data visualization, and delivery to audiences).

About the job

The YouTube Business Product Activation Team is responsible for bringing product to market and market to product. The team works closely with both business and product leaders to scale adoption of YouTube products across the partner and creator ecosystem.

The core capabilities of the team include: designing go-to-market strategies, identifying and prioritizing product activation opportunities across the business, ensuring launch readiness, defining and driving execution on product activation across segments, understanding needs of partners and creators to provide Product teams with market feedback and prioritization to shape product roadmaps, developing content strategy, collecting and synthesizing user feedback, and tracking performance.

The YouTube Fan funding & Studio Go-To-Market Strategy (GTMS) team is responsible for the performance of the Fan Funding product offering and the Studio product offering to the holistic creator ecosystem. Our Fan Funding and Studio GTMS team develops go-to-market strategies, and supports our product organization to bring their products to market.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead a group of Product Activation Managers.
  • Set the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy to grow new Business-to-Business-to-Consumer (B2B2C) digital businesses from the ground up, and to drive new YouTube (YT) Generative AI (GenAI) creator workflow product adoption on a global level.
  • Ability to manage and influence cross-functional stakeholders, and drive execution on product and business priorities.
  • Work cross functionally with Product Managers, UXR, Engineering, Partnerships Team, Marketing, YT Business Team and Finance, and to shape a GTM strategy for the Fan Funding suite of products. Define product strategy, crafting go-to-market strategies, developing communications for new products and synthesizing global market feedback.
  • Develop insights reports that highlight the top user and partner issues and business opportunities that Product should prioritize.
