Senior Server Qualification Engineer, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in hardware testing or qualification with signal integrity, power, and timing.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Experience collecting and organizing details to reproduce the failure and explain the root cause and solutions.
- Knowledge of characterizing CPU, Memory and peripheral devices quality using statistical analysi with excellent data collection skills to facilitate quick, accurate failure analysis from the vendor.
- Knowledge of computer systems with physical, functional, logical, mechanical, electrical, software, and thermal.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Create test plans and coordinate resources across many test environments.
- Perform electrical, functional, reliability, and performance tests to ensure hardware solutions meet Google's requirements. Report bugs and drive corrective action where needed with external suppliers or internal development teams.
- Maintain and improve the qualification process.
- Work with Original Design Manufacturers/Joint Design Manufacturers (ODMs)/(JDMs) to ensure testing to meet Google standards.
- Drive the test efficiency and test quality. Focus on Gen-to-Gen Optimization and process improvement.
