Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in business operations, finance, or contract management roles.
  • 5 years of experience managing a team of program managers.
  • 5 years of experience managing budgets and financial analytics.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience establishing business-centric metrics and evaluation programs.
  • Ability to define program strategy in a global, or data center environment.
  • Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills, with a track record in finance analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Track record of influencing cross-functional stakeholders and leading alignment.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As the Business and Strategy Operations Lead, you will be responsible for the definition of the data center operations team business operations programs and support strategy development. Your team will be responsible for communications across data center operations and ensuring our strategy aligns with Google's data center dtrategy. Your team establishes and oversees the financial, contractual, and business reporting process and requirements that the site teams implement. The tabulation and reporting of data center operations business performance is critical to the continued high financial performance of data center operations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $207,000-$300,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and manage a team of program managers, ensuring team execution against key performance indicators (KPIs), career development, and overall operational well-being.
  • Define and manage data center operations business programs and support the development of organizational strategy.
  • Establish and oversee financial, contractual, and business reporting processes across site teams to ensure operational excellence.
  • Coordinate communications across data center operations and ensure team strategies are aligned with Google's broader data center strategy.
