Strategy and Operations Principal, Product Partnerships

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the health-tech or digital health space within the APAC region.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with limited direction, balance engaging priorities, and manage time-sensitive projects.
  • Ability to communicate insights from data, with excellent attention to detail and interest in metrics/understanding trends in business performance.
  • Ability to convey issues clearly and assess strategic opportunities, with an understanding of their impact on business growth.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships and gain alignment among stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills, with ability to navigate ambiguity and design solutions to challenges.

About the job

We are the Strategy and Operations team that supports the Product partnerships areas in APAC across Knowledge and Information, Platforms and Devices and News partnerships.

In this role, you will focus on shaping strategy on horizontal bets across product areas and enabling delivery of goals in these bets in APAC. Your role sits within the APAC Partnerships Strategy and Operations (PSO) team, focusing on the Health workstream as a key cross-Product Area (xPA) strategic priority. You will create and drive the regional Health strategy using data-driven insights to improve health outcomes and operational excellence across Product Partnerships in APAC. You will liaise closely with the broader Strategy and Operations organization in APAC, presenting to and influencing executives, serving as the primary Strategy and Operations lead for the regional Health agenda with cross-functional teams.

Additionally, you will lead business operations and strategy projects that advance Google’s Health initiatives across various product areas, including Platforms and Devices, Search, Gemini, and Google Research, ensuring a unified and scalable approach to health-tech innovation in the region.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the APAC Health strategy, providing insights and analysis to support cross-product area product prioritization and advocacy.
  • Lead the coordination and operational management of the APAC Health bet, including establishing common 2026 goals and operating governance across product areas and markets.
  • Drive regional Health initiatives by convening cross-product area teams, ensuring project milestones are met, and identifying top growth/new business opportunities within the Health partner pipeline. Work with key partnerships teams driving Health bets.
  • Manage progress tracking and reporting of Health APAC Plan to executive forums, develop APAC Health Narratives for executive engagements, maintain Health Ecosystem tracking.
  • Build a repository of key participant and regulatory intelligence in APAC. Coordinate external advocacy with central messaging, develop playbooks for scale built on successes in lighthouse markets, and manage internal advocacy to global teams for APAC focus.
