Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in marketing analytics, strategy consulting, financial modeling, or statistical analysis.
  • 7 years of experience in a sales leadership and people management role, including coaching, mentoring, and team development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in the Retail industry and working with retail companies.
  • Experience working in an investigative role.
  • Knowledge of Google’s BI and Analytics tool chain.
  • Ability to influence executive stakeholders, internally and externally.
  • Excellent presentation skills in front of large executive audiences.

The Large Customer Sales organization in Germany consists of vertical sales teams and a specialist organization. This role is based on the Retail vertical. The Retail team owns the growth and relationships with retailers based and operating in Germany.

In this role, you will work with the various account teams to drive growth for our customers and Google by leveraging value-centered sales strategies and actionable insights.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver growth for our Retail customers and our Google business through a value-centric sales strategy and data-based insights via customized and scaled sales activities.
  • Play a lead role in driving customer facing value-centric and problem-solving conversations, while also managing executive customer interactions directly.
  • Partner with the Sector Directors, Industry Heads and other teams across Large Customer Sales to define and lead the investigative and insights agenda for our clients.
  • Coach team members as well as the extended account teams in the development and delivery of effective, value-centric and data-based pitches that allow us to grow our customers’ and our own business.
  • Develop and lead a team of Investigative Consultants and Sales Solution Specialists, especially in the area of value-centric selling.
